PARVATHI NATURAL SMOKE
The use of natural products, in addition to being a global trend, is the correct, responsible and sustainable way to use the planet's natural resources. Parvathi is an alternative for the Brazilian tobacco market, because, in addition to not going through the industrialization process, it does not contain residues or chemical additives. No pesticides and/or chemical fertilizers are used throughout its process, from planting to harvesting.
The tobacco is not a "blend". It is pure. A unique product on the national market. Natural tobacco is derived from the Virginia plant and is cultivated according to international standards. It goes through a rigorous process where there is a production limit. Our packaging was developed to preserve and protect the tobacco. Laminated and metallized. "Ziplock" closure that guarantees the quality of the tobacco for longer. Moisture in the packaging: 15%. The result is top-quality tobacco. Clean, smooth, aimed at a select and demanding public that values quality.
Each pack of Parvathi - Natural Tobacco contains 25 grams of pure shredded tobacco and yields around 35 cigarettes.
ROLLING PAPER (SILK) PARVATHI
Pursuing the need for quality and sustainability, within a standard that is a global trend, we have developed our own rolling paper.
Parvathi Rolling Paper Brown is a special "silk". It features the exclusive mountain watermark that guarantees perfect combustion (smooth, slow and uniform).
The product is made from organic material, without additives or chlorine processing (further avoiding the combustion of toxic substances that are harmful to health), and has a 100% natural gum arabic sheet, perfect for rolling tobacco.
All this results in a natural, organic paper, free of chemical components, top of the line and aimed at the demanding consumer.
PARVATHI: The Authentic Taste of Brazilian Organic Tobacco
When it comes to organic tobacco, few brands have a history as rich and unique as Parvathi.
The ancient Goddess Parvati, also known as the Goddess of a thousand faces, supreme mother, wife of Shiva, the Hindu Supreme God of destruction and renewal, and mother of Ganesha and Kartikeya. She is considered the symbolic daughter of the Himalayas and sister of the Ganges River and dedicates herself with great love and protection to all, guiding them along all the paths of karma. Also called Shakti, the incarnation of the very generation of energy that has the power of creation.
True to its name, which is a nod to the Hindu goddess of fertility, love, beauty, harmony, as well as power and strength, Parvathi is more than just a tobacco brand; it is a transformative experience that challenges the conventional way of enjoying tobacco.
The beginning of this extraordinary adventure begins at the Universo Paralelo electronic music festival in 2010, where partner and founder João Paulo tried organic tobacco mixed with spices. The unique and unprecedented harmonization of the smoke inspired João to create a product that did not exist on the Brazilian market.
The Parvathi brand was born from the dream and determination of two childhood friends, João Paulo and Fernando, both residents of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Sharing a passion for quality tobacco and a desire to introduce a new and unique product to the market, the two brought the idea of Parvathi to life. The name of the project was suggested by Fernando, and after detailed research into its multiple cultural, mystical and social meanings in Hindu and Indian culture, it was unanimously adopted.
The creation arose not from dissatisfaction but rather from an opportunity to create a specific, hidden, unexplored and high-purchasing-power market niche, in which consumers are selective, demanding and discerning.
We cannot confirm the origin of the raw material for American Spirit, but what we can say is that the American Indian owner of the brand learned about organic cultivation from the multinational company to which our producer supplied organic tobacco.
The company, named Orion after the legendary hunter from Greek mythology, serves as a platform for the creation of Parvathi, an organic tobacco, without industrial processing, with a mild, light and pleasant flavor, a perfect match for mixing with spices, just as a good wine pairs well with good cheese.
The search for a quality tobacco supplier took João to Santa Cruz do Sul, a Brazilian tobacco hub. There, he met the Menezes family, a pioneer in the production of organic tobacco in Brazil and the exclusive supplier of the multinational JTI (formerly Kanneberg). It is worth noting that millions of reais were spent on the study and development of organic tobacco by the Japanese. A partnership was established, benefiting the Menezes family due to direct contact and fairer remuneration compared to that of the multinationals.
Parvathi's logo, a mountain, is a symbolic representation of the Himalayas, a place known for the best hashish in the world, and also of Mother Nature. This highlights Parvathi's commitment to providing a natural and high-quality product.
Parvathi tobacco is grown on certified farms using environmentally friendly and sustainable farming practices. Each leaf is hand-selected to ensure the highest quality product.
From the beginning, Orion and the Parvathi project have been dedicated to providing the "perfect tobacco" to a select and demanding audience. We pioneered the stripping of the tobacco leaf stem, which makes it even smoother. Over time, the brand has expanded to include other products such as cigarette papers, accessories, clothing and Clipper lighters.
